About Me

My name is Damien Blake and I’ve been working with clients across the country to build websites and online campaigns since 1996. To get a feel for my work, please take a look at my portfolio. Please note, I am not currently in a position to take on new projects.

I have addressed numerous groups and conferences on topics like IT security, web development, online campaigning and reputation management.

From 2004 to 2009, I served as a member of Letterkenny Town Council, including serving a year in the role of Mayor of Letterkenny. During that time, I made heavy use of online tools like my own blog and twitter to try to better connect with my constituents in Letterkenny.

I chose not to stand in the 2009 local elections, in order to return to study. From June 2009 to June 2011, I undertook the Executive MBA programme at the UCD Smurfit School of Business, having been awarded a scholarship by The Irish Times.

In 2010, I joined Google in their Dublin office. For information on my current role, the best place to check is my LinkedIn profile.
